One Piece PS3 Title Coming to North America

Bandai Namco recently confirmed that One Piece: Pirate Warriors, released on the PS3 on March 1 in Japan under the name One Piece: Kaizoku Musou (ワンピース 海賊無双), will be coming to North America and Europe in November 2012. A four-minute gameplay video was posted in mid-February.

Dragon Ball Z Kinect on Way; World Peace to Ensue

Bandai recently confirmed at an event in Las Vegas that they will indeed be releasing a first-person brawler-style Dragon Ball Z video game for the Xbox Kinect. Players will be able to play as over 50 characters, including one new fighter, and execute over 100 moves from the series by physically performing them in front of their television.

On a personal note I just want to say how proud I am of all of us tonight. We’ve all been subconsciously/consciously willing this in to existence with our minds over the course of the last 25 years or so, and we finally did it. YATTA!

Official Akira Bike Goes on a Roadtrip Around Japan

Many have tried to duplicate the pure awesomeness of the original red Akira bike, but none have ever been officially recognized by the creator of Akira, Katsuhiro Otomo – until now.

This stunning Neo-Tokyo replica bike is the spitting image from the epic OVA, Akira. Masashi Teshima spent seven years and ¥10 million (US$121,000) to make his own personal version and now it is getting international praise from Akira fans worldwide and even from the creator himself. The bike went on a road trip around Japan to show off and its final stop was in Tokyo, at a convention that honors the creator of Akira. Check it out:

Street Fighter X Tekken Vita: Episode I

CAPCOM has released a short dubbed “Episode 1″ for its Street Fighter X Tekken crossover fighting game due out for Playstation Vita this fall.

The release will include 12 additional characters not featured on the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 versions. The 12 new available fighters will be comprised of Elena, Guy, Cody, Sakura, Dudley and Blanka from Street Fighter, and Alisa, Christie, Jack, Bryan, Lars and Lei from Tekken.

Hatsune Miku Coming to Vita/PS3

3D Japanese digital pop star Hatsune Miku will be bringing her talents to the Playstation Vita this summer as well as the PS3 in 2012. The project, currently titled Next Hatsune Miku Project Diva, will feature controls similar to those in previous Project Diva titles.

CAPCOM Posts Resident Evil 6 Trailer

A new three-minute trailer for Resident Evil 6 is now available from CAPCOM. The Trailer reveals that the game, which will be released on both Xbox360 and PS3, will be in stores October 2nd instead of the original date of November 20.

Sonic the Hedgehog 4: Episode II Available May 16

The Sonic Team has announced that they will release Sonic the Hedgehog 4: Episode II on May 16 through both PSN and Xbox Live Arcade. The game will also see an iOS release in May, an Android version in June and a Windows Mobile version in July.
